I created these paintings on my iPhone using various art applications which allow you to paint on the screen using your fingers. You can zoom in and out using the “pinch” motion, providing the possibility for highly detailed images. I usually display one of my photographs on my computer screen as a reference and fingerpaint away. Sometimes I'll paint en plein air, on location, and for abstract work I rely only on my imagination.
At one time, My Living Room was one of the largest iPhone paintings ever created. At screen resolution of 72ppi it measured 84" high. It took me six evenings to complete and contains 41, 090 finger strokes. See the replay below.
